Bill_CosbyTwitter

What’s tastier than a pudding pop and less itchy than a sweater? Why, social media of course! Just ask Bill Cosby, the veteran comic who has recently taken the web by storm. With no less than eight outlets, Cosby is more accessible than ever.

He’s even got a Facebook app that lets you dress yourself up in a Cosby-style sweater. Who’d have thunk all the strange and wonderful places we’d go wtih social media?!

Read more about the Cosby invasion here and here. And be sure to follow him on Twitter here.

Welcome to Fight Club

Picture 1

Are you a beautiful and unique snowflake or just another cog in the machine?

Experience the mayhem firsthand, using Facebook Connect and this amazing site experience that asks: if you wake up at a different time and in a different place, could you wake up as a different person? In celebration of the 10th anniversary Blu-Ray edition of Fight Club, you get to channel your inner anarchist and immerse yourself in the Fight Club experience.

First rule, though, is to tell everyone to experience the mayhem.

There are some things that just go together: peanut butter and jelly, Bert and Ernie, Google and… Sesame Street?

In case you didn’t notice, the web behemoth was overtaken by everyone’s favorite Sesame Street characters this past week to celebrate the beloved TV show’s 40th birthday. The show’s actual birthday was yesterday, November 10, but Google celebrated for a full week leading up to the big day. Hey, turning 40 is no small feat.

In case you missed it, you can download high resolution images here.

Also on hand to help celebrate was none other than the first lady herself, appearing on yesterday’s episode to talk about food, gardens and eating veggies.

Happy Birthday, Sesame Street!

The Men Who Stare at Goats hits theaters this Friday, November 6th. Almost as exciting is this series of character posters, showing, well… men staring at goats. The tagline is pretty clever too: No Goats. No Glory.

What do you think? And more importantly, will you see it?

WB steps in for Microsoft

As we blogged last week, Family Guy is apparently not PC enough for Microsoft. Not to worry! Warner Bros. to the rescue.

The rival studio to Fox has picked up the sponsorship of Sunday’s episode to promote their upcoming flick Sherlock Holmes.

Holmes, does your depravity know no bounds? No? Good, welcome to Family Guy.
